Journey To The Islands of Santorini

My journey to the Islands of Santorini started right after I went home from my travel to Paris, France. The moment I stepped foot to The Netherlands, I immediately prepared for the big day, that is, to follow the course of my flight: Amsterdam – Munich – Athens – then finally, Santorini. It was an arduous journey so to speak but it was an incredible experience. One might wonder, why the flight has a lot of stops when in the first place, Santorini is just in the realm of the European Union? Good question!

This type of trip happens because starting a trip in the beginning of the year is usually difficult as one would need to book the connecting flights from country to country. That was a very difficult journey but it was filled with fun and excitement, why? It’s because of the picture right down below. Imagine you are in the most difficult situation upon travelling but then in your head, it signals that, all your hardworking will be paid because look at the picture of the lone tree below. It’s worth the struggles right?

I always say that to a lot of friends and acquaintances I met that the best of the best of Santorini is in Oia. This is probably the heart of Santorini in terms of majestic view and drone manoeuvres aspects. This place is so peaceful that what your eyes can see could satisfy the longings inside your heart, that peace that transcends within you. There are plenty of desires that sit within our heart and we all know that all things in this weary world could not satisfy those desires by material things. In the next video below is also depicting the episode 1 of my journey wherein the struggles I experience would show no matter how I took my effort that everything about the travel was okay.

In the next episode, here you can see here the happiness I felt when I started exploring the islands of Santorini. I mean from land the small airplane to the island was breath taking and I’ve got the red car from the car rental company, and then at that moment, the happiness glows into my inner being as I started exploring the whole islands.

The episode 2 is probably the most beautiful video I have created, not because I am good at editing videos but because the place or the island is so beautiful that it does not need any enhancements visually because the place is just very majestic. Look at the picture below and tell me why! The views here in Oia are just breath taking.

Oia, Santorini is most majestic among all places. In the video below, you can see my 10.50 hour experience with the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.

The magical drone footages captured my heart as I continuously fly my drone on this island. I say magical because the perfect timing of a nice weather, and a perfectly well-charged drone met together to spend minutes to hours of making drone footages.
